Hello :3

I'm Kim from Louisville, KY. There's a Curves just up the road from me, and I've been thinking about joining. I've never been able to find a price list for membership, though, and no one seems to be able or willing to clue me in!

So what's the mystery? Are rates different at every location, or something?

There shouldn't be a difference in rates except to say that the cost may reflect the economy in your area. I've been to the Louisville Curves, at least the one near the Galt House Hotel. They usually have brochures with answers to frequently asked questions like schedules and pricing. When you go in for a consultation and figure analysis, they'll inform you of pricing for a basic membership, joining fees if applicable, promotions, and the costs of items such as vitamins and suppliments, Curves clothing, and other curves products. Good luck! I'd say the more important thing to worry about is scheduling. The last time I was in Louisville, I noticed that the curves didn't run all hours of the day. It actually shut down during the lunch hour, and it didn't run five to six days a week. Actually, I think it only ran three or four.

When I signed up, there was an initial fee of quite a bit..I can't remember exactly how much, but it was somewhere between 60 and 120 dollars. Then it was $30 a month.

Nobody buys the vitamins. Hahah.

Oh, and my Curves, in Stockton, California, also closed during the lunch hour..So that might be pretty standard. And it was closed on Sundays.

Not necessarily. My club is open from 5:30 in the morning to 7:30 at night from Monday to Friday. On Saturday, they're open from eight to noon.

Cheers on the vitamins. They're expensive!

late to the game

Prices up here in MA range from 34.99$ to 39.99$/ month. The joining fee is 100$ but they usually run deals, ask about that. You get certain discounts if you sign up for a year in advance (10% ?) or go to direct debit monthly.

Whenever I'm in Louisville visiting family, I go to the one on Preston, I think. (or Poplar Level...I always get them confused) near the Value City. The facility is clean and nice and the people who worked there last times I was there are fabulous.
