I am almost nineteen years old. My mother, sister, and I are all overweight. While I was at my first year of college I went to the gym all the time, but since I wasn't eating the best (darn that college food) I did not loose that much, I think I lost like 10 pounds. So I have been home for the summer for a while now and I miss the gym. So I finally convinced my mom and sister to go to curves with me.
I am very happy about it since im eighteen im free for the summer since my mom bought a membership. And when I go back to school my mom and sister promise to keep going, and I am going to go with some friends from school that also go to their local curves.
I had my first workout yesterday, and since I havent done major working out (nothing more than walking, biking, swimming, no weights or machines) I am actually sore a little bit in my arms. So I am very happy to be working out again.
My mom and I are going to Arizona next week, so I hope she doesnt slack off and not go. Because we have our travel passes already that allows us to use their curves. Also we are going to Seattle in August, so I want to go when we are there too. Im worried that my mom won't want too since we are on a trip. But I hope she will like is so much that she will want to go.
My sister is doing her first work out on monday afte work I think. (My sister is eighteen years older than me and has kids.) Then, my moms first time is going to be Tuesday. Hopefully we will all go together on Wednesday.
I am so excited!
I think I am going to buy the membership book on monday. Does anyone have that and have you found anything extremely helpful in it?
How is everyone else doing?
Anyone doing anything else outside of curves that is helping them to lose weight efficiently?
